Forum: etree Subject: How are the etree05-08 machine doing? They having a good workout?

Just curious how the new servers were doing in response to load and processing information. Is etree05 keeping up with it's md5 verifications? are they stressed out? or is the new one upload only server / three availbale move-to server system working much better then the old system?

From my own personal experience, it seemed that the etree05 machine was blazing through it's md5 verifications. as soon as a show entered the md5 que, it passed and was public in only about 15-20 minutes. how is the md5 'line' going with processing time now that the new system is at full user contributions load?

Just got to thinking about this, that's all ;)

etree05's load average is almost always below 1, which is great for md5 processing. You're right: they blaze, even when there are 20 uploaders.

etree06-etree08 are another story. They're fine for the most part, but I've seen the load peak around 120.

Right now, however, the problem is no longer machine performance, but bandwidth.
